We are here when you need us
We strive to deliver high-quality evidenced-based physiotherapy to empower our patients in achieving functional independence in
good health, and to avoid recurring injuries.
The physiotherapist plays an integral role in the medical team. Treatments administered to in-hospital patients are carried out in the wards of Mediclinic Constantiaberg when requested by medical doctors. Patients may continue treatment with us post hospitalization and be seen in our rooms.
Treatment for outpatients is tailored to their individual needs which is offered in our private rooms. Rehabilitation exercise classes include Pilates, Spinal Conditioning and Functional Rehabilitation, are held at our on-site gym.
We are first line practitioners, patients can make a direct appointment with us or be referred to by a medical doctor if their medical aid requires a referral letter. Our appointment duration is 45 minutes for a comprehensive assessment and treatment.
Physiotherapy Techniques
Technique selection is tailored to address an individual patient’s symptoms such as weakness, pain, stiffness, or loss of function. Stages of healing determine which technique is suitable and dosage thereof.
